Who can participate?
Base Evangelism is open to the staff and ministries of YWAM Pismo Beach & Central Coast as well as any believer who has a desire to share the love of God with the community around them.
We go out every Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. from our office on Price Street in Pismo Beach. You are welcome to join us to reach out to the beach community on a weekly basis. Call 805.773.YWAM for more information.
What is evangelism?
- bringing glory to God
- telling others about Jesus with the intent of leading them to the Lord
- a rescue mission to save lost souls out of obedience to God
- a call to repentance
To set aside time as a base to focus all of our attention and energy on evangelism. It is to purposefully put into practice one of the main aspects of YWAM as a whole, as well as to move in the mission statement of YWAM Pismo/Central Coast as a "community reaching a community."
This time is not designated to meet an "evangelism quota" for the week, but as Christians we are called to a lifestyle of evangelism
"He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' And I answered, 'O Lord God, You know.'...Thus says the Lord God to these bones, 'Behold I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.'"
